PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT!

Take advantage of the outstanding opportunities provided to members through the association!

Recently, I had the pleasure of participating in the World Class Customer Service webinar with all my staff; full time, part time and seasonal. What a great, cost effective way to provide professional development to all staff levels. The webinar cost was $25 per computer; no participant limitations. We were able to set this up in our Council Chambers and all staff members participated. CPRA does an exceptional job of providing its members a smorgasbord of professional development opportunities. Take advantage of these opportunities and continue to educate yourself and all of your staff.
 

Are your travel/training budgets still limited? Visit the Professional Development section of the website for CPRA Foundation Scholarship opportunities. The application process is simple and well worth the time to complete, so don’t delay the deadline to apply is April 27.

Thank You for participating in the Vision Plan questionnaire, the response rate was more than we ever anticipated. If you haven’t done so already, we encourage you to conduct a Focus Group Meeting with your boards, commissions and staff members. The CPRA Board will be meeting with MIG at our May 4 board meeting in Woodland Park to review the questionnaire results. Stay tuned for Vision Plan updates.
